Yesterday I read one of my friend that Rahul Dravid, one of the most iconic cricketer of our time is going to retire. I read and rubbished that. I was not expecting to see him to retire very soon as he is one of the reasons why I love test cricket when most people don't bother to watch. But today he just announced his retirement from the International Test Matches. He looked very emotional, so as people sitting along with him, the BCCI President and another lagend Anil Kumble. But they are not who are feeling like that, there are
thousands of people who watched the interview and are feeling very sad. When Brian Lara was going to retire, I knew and I watched his last match, every ball he played and every run he scored but Rahul Dravid's retirement
came as a shocker, and I am cursing myself not able to watch his complete last inning. But life is like that, cricket survived when Brian Lara, Anil Kumble, Saurav Ganguly,Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev and many lagends retired. Life will move on but people and coaches will telll their kids to follow Rahul Dravid, watch his videos and try to become like him.I wish him great luck for his future and would love to see him serving cricket at different lavels. Also want to see what is in his mind as he never spoke his mind out.
I don't know how I would expect an Indian Test Cricket Team without Rahul Dravid.
Thanks for all you did for India and for International cricket.
